SOAP CLASS LIABILITY WAIVER

Soap Class Liability Waiver – Misty Mountain Acres

I acknowledge that participation in the Soap class involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Use of sodium hydroxide (lye), which can cause burns or irritation
• Handling hot liquids, oils, and soap-making equipment
• Exposure to fragrances or ingredients that may cause allergic reactions
• Being on a working hobby farm with uneven terrain, animals, and outdoor hazards (if applicable)
• Optional interaction with goats and other animals (if applicable)
• Consumption of alcoholic beverages (if applicable)

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

I agree to follow all safety instructions, wear required protective gear, and inform staff of any allergies or medical conditions prior to participation.

I confirm that I am physically able to participate and will not be under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol.

I hereby release and hold harmless Misty Mountain Acres, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, damages, or injuries arising from participation in this event.

If consuming alcohol, I confirm I am 21+ and will drink responsibly.

I understand that the soap I create is handmade, requires curing time, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
